Eat 12/18/2008

I am blogging on the BF’s computer today and for some reason it is being weird with me, so I apologize if this post looks jacked up. I started my day with my fave oatmeal.foodies-072

Lunch was PB&J on flax bread – this bread is super healthy in terms of nutritional info, but it is also super dry. I don’t really like it. I like chewy, nutty bread and this is not it 😦 Luckily I am almost done with the package so I can try something else. Question- What bread do you love? Do you have any you suggest I try?foodies-0741I ate a ton of grapes and some dry cereal in the afternoon. I couldn’t get any pics of it since a co-worker borrowed my camera at that time.

I didn’t post my daily yesterday – sorry, work and life have been crazy 😦 but I did want to recap my cookie making since I ate one at work:

The night before I made cookies with Matt and the BF. It was a lot of fun and a lot of cookies! We just used this stuff: foodies-065It was so easy, just lay out the sheets of dough, use cookie cutters to make shapes, bake for 8 to 10 minutes and Wa-La! Cookies!foodies-066We decorated them with regular icing colored with food coloring and sprinkles. I probably ate about 3 while decorating. Normally I think I would have eaten even more, but I was so busy getting the cookies in and out of the oven and keeping the decorations out for the boys to use!foodies-068We ended up with too many to just have at my house so I took a bunch to work. foodies-070Dinner last night required something hot since it has been unbelievably cold here! I wanted soup so we tried a Pho place that we had never been to before. Started with spring rolls:ame-524-project-2008-12-09-pg1of1-001I ordered the chicken Pho and didn’t realize that the chicken came on the side. Is that normal? I ‘ve never had Pho before. ame-524-project-2008-12-09-pg1of1-004

After dinner we needed to find a HUGE suitcase for the BF. He is leaving for Florida tonight and needs to pack up all his presents for the fam. Unfortunately, we were not able to make it to the comedy show because this was something that had to be done. Despite out efforts we did not find a suitcase that would work. On a happy note – I did find a yoga mat at Marshall’s for $13.00 NICE! After the shopping I got a nf hot cocoa from the ‘bucks and shared a biscotti with the BF. The Office was a rerun, what the heck.ame-524-project-2008-12-09-pg1of1-005

  1. From a certified pho expert, chicken served on the side is totally, totally wrong. Whatta waste 😉

  2. Have you tried the Arnold Sandwich things? They are good and 100 cals.
I also loooove Ezekial English muffins.
