Weigh in 9/9 – Bad News

I gained 3 pounds over the last week! I blame the cruise. I knew it – way too much good food and alcohol! Son of a bitch! (Sorry this blog is going to get profane really fast if I am gaining weight instead of losing.)

Anyways, I don’t think I ate 3,500 extra calories everyday of the cruise. (3,500 calories equals 1 pound in case you didn’t know.) But, I did indulge and I did drink more than I am used to and more than I should have. So I am loading up on water this week and just trying to eat healthy and listen to my body. I am hoping to make the scale go down 4 pounds by Monday. I don’t know if that is realistic but I would love to at least lose 1 pound from my starting weight by week 3 of this challenge!

  1. Don’t beat yourself up – you had fun, right?

    And it probably is a lot of water weight gain from the alcohol.

    One weekend all I did was drink water constantly, I really hydrated myself – at my next WW meeting I went from 145 pounds to 139 – 6 pounds of water weight!
